“Net Neutrality and SOPA/PIPA”

The Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA) was created to stop online trafficking of illegal product and to stop people from stealing money from people without actually selling them anything. Network neutrality was issued to make internet service providers treat everyone equally. Meaning that they would not block certain content that they do not like to people. The protect Intellectual Property Act (PIPA) gives the US government and copyright companies the right to access websites that they think are selling copyright materials and illegal goods and the right to shut them down and to charge them.
